Forklift truck licence

Forklift trucks are important self-propelled work equipment in the field of warehouse and operational logistics as well as in transport, requiring a forklift licence as proof of qualification. This training course, in accordance with the German ordinance on the certification of professional competence, comprises a theoretical part and practical exercises, which you complete with an examination.

In cooperation with TÜV-Süd, we organise these forklift training courses (24 teaching units) for you either at our branch or at your premises (provided that a forklift truck is available at your place of work). TÜV-Süd issues the certificates (credit card format) after successful completion of the examination. The content of the training complies with the regulations governing the certification of professional competence in theory and practice.

The training covers the following topics (excerpt):

• Basic concepts of mechanics and electrical engineering
• Design and operation of forklift trucks, mechanical and electrical equipment of forklift trucks
• Safety devices on forklift trucks
• Operation and maintenance of forklift trucks
• Employee protection regulations, other legal regulations, standards and guidelines for the safe operation of forklift trucks
• Practical exercises and operation
