According to the globally renowned trade publication, ”International Cranes”, the family business from Austria is among the best crane rental companies in the world. Coming in at 30, we are the only representative from Austria inside the top 30. The annual evaluation from the magazine ”Kran & Bühne” shows a similar picture. In the German-speaking regions, Prangl is ranked 9th among the top 10 crane rental corporations. We’ve even taken 8th place in the “Crawler cranes” category in the German-speaking regions.

When it comes to the aerial work platform sector, the situation is equally pleasing. According to ”Kran & Bühne”, which awarded Prangl 12th place, Prangl is also top in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. At 10th place in the “Telehandlers” subcategory, we are also in the top 10 of the industry leaders in the German-speaking regions. Prangl was also included in the "Access International" magazine's evaluation. Every year, the world's largest aerial work platform rental companies are rated here. Coming in at 54th, we are again the only representative from Austria in the International comparison.

Prangl is committed to staying up to date with requirements relating to health, safety, the environment and quality, which is why the company has been ISO and SCC certified for many years now. Over the course of a two-week period, the TÜV audit (re-certification per ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 as well as initial appraisal per SCCP:VAZ) was conducted at the head offices in Vienna and Budapest, and at the locations in Poggersdorf, Szeged, and Debrecen, where rigorous assessment once again took place in all areas. The process also included project visits in Austria and Hungary.

The auditors expressed praise at the dedicated commitment of all employees and were impressed by the complexity of the work and the solution-oriented approach exhibited at Prangl. Successful completion of the audit across the board once again confirms the company's goal-oriented commitment. There is, of course, always room for improvement and we look forward to realising these improvements in due course. As such, all managers and process owners will be examining the areas in which room for improvement was identified during the audit – and implementing the measures required to ensure that Prangl remains a reliable partner in every regard.

Domestic companies are once again clearly demonstrating that “Made in Austria” is a globally recognised seal of quality; their products and services impress customers around the globe. The prestigious Export Award, presented by Minister for Economic Affairs Wolfgang Hattmannsdorfer and Austrian Chamber of Commerce President Harald Mahrer, recognises the exceptional achievements of these companies.

The Export Award highlights precisely these outstanding achievements and proves that Austrian companies are often just that little bit better. For the 31st time, the Austrian Chamber of Commerce presented the Export Award at the “Exporters’ Nite” event, which represents the breadth and diversity of the Austrian economy. Every year at the event, the best of the best are in the spotlight. In bestowing the awards, the countless entries were judged by an independent jury of experts. The award was presented in six main categories and two special categories.

After enjoying success in the “Transport & Traffic” category in 2020, Prangl was honoured for the second time – on this occasion with the bronze Export Award. “We consider this award to be a mark of esteemed recognition of our highly specialised services.
